One of the biggest mistakes people make is joining too many ptc sites.  Many people who have just start out with paid to click sites tend to join as many sites as they can. Their reasoning being, that the more sites that they join, the more money they will make. While this may sound logical at first, your time is not really being used efficiently enough this way and moreso you may also burn yourself out. The best approach would be to join between 5 to 10 quality, trusted ptc sites at first, no more than 15. This allows you to concentrate more on being able to grow your monthly income with a handful of hand selected sites, instead of just trying to click your way to glory by joining every site possible. You can concentrate more on promoting the sites you belong to and building your referral baseline. At some point, you can add another trusted site and because you have centered your focus on just a few, you'll have the revenue to build up any new site that you may add to your family of sites fairly quickly with your established monthly income.

Another big issue with having too many sites in your family is not knowing the current news and situation of all your sites.  This is very important as PTC sites come and go rather quickly these days.  Keeping informed about your site’s status is essential to your income.  If you begin to see the tell-tale signs of a site that’s in trouble, you can shift your focus and resources to another trusted ptc site, and add a new site to your family.  Wasting time on a site because you haven’t looked at its news, announcements, or other information in its forums is a mistake that will come to cost you dearly later on.
